Who we are
Nestled in the sheltered inner cove of Bridgeport Harbor, Miamogue Yacht Club has been a cherished haven for boating and fishing enthusiasts since 1907. Located in the heart of Bridgeport, our private club continues to thrive as a welcoming community for those who love life on the water.
Please note: prospective members must be sponsored by two current club members.
Our Docks
Miamogue Yacht Club features 168 slips ranging from 20 to 50 feet, designed to provide spacious, secure, and easily accessible docking for a wide range of vessels. Each slip is equipped with its own electrical stanchion and water supply, ensuring every boat has the utilities it needs.
Our stable, well-maintained docks make boarding and handling your vessel safe and convenient. For added flexibility, several spots are available at the dinghy dock for an additional fee.
Members also benefit from a large fish cleaning station, on-site fuel services, and pump-out facilities, all located steps from the docks. With these amenities, Miamogue makes every visit to the water effortless, enjoyable, and well-supported.
The Clubhouse
Miamogue Yacht Club has a vibrant and active membership, creating a welcoming and lively community. Our clubhouse features a full bar, pool table, games, and plenty of comfortable seating for socializing and casual dinners.
The club also offers a fully equipped kitchen, used for a variety of club events and gatherings. Our spacious hall can accommodate up to 200 guests and is available for rent, making it the perfect venue for special occasions, celebrations, and private events.
The Yard
Miamogue Yacht Club features a gated entrance for passenger vehicles and a secured slide gate for commercial vehicles, as well as boats and trailers, ensuring safe and controlled access at all times. Our paved parking lot provides ample space for members and guests.
The club also offers a spacious boatyard, with secure winter storage for boats and summer storage for trailers and trailered vessels, making Miamogue a convenient and reliable home for your boating needs.
The Fleet
The Miamogue fleet features a diverse range of boats, from open center console fishing vessels to spacious cabin cruisers, catering to every type of boating enthusiast. Our fleet is well-rounded, supporting both avid anglers and recreational sailors alike.
With a strong and active fishing community alongside a thriving sail-away group, members can enjoy a variety of experiences on the water, whether it’s casting lines in pursuit of the perfect catch or setting sail for a leisurely cruise. At Miamogue, we truly offer the best of both worlds for every waterman.
Our Members
Miamogue Yacht Club is a welcoming, family-friendly community where members of all ages come together to enjoy life on the water. Throughout the year, members participate in a variety of club traditions, from our festive Opening Day Ceremony to the ever-popular Family Day Picnic.
Families can also look forward to seasonal events like the Children’s Halloween Party, Easter Celebration, and Christmas Party, while adult members enjoy gatherings such as Happy Hours, potluck dinners, game nights, and pre-Super Bowl or football parties. These events bring our membership together, fostering camaraderie and lasting friendships.
